Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do you have an iPhone and iPod Touch version?
    • iPhones were the only devices that had a microphone built-in at the time of initial release. While newer iPods do support a microphone we thought this may confuse some people. We wouldn't want people buying an app that has features that their device does not support. So we thought it was best to split it into two separate versions.
  • Do you plan on adding more sound effects?
    • We do have plans for additional sound effects in the future. Whether these could replace current ones or get added in with the current set is up in the air. However, as long as there is spare room on the soundboard there will be effects to fill it. Keep your eyes peeled for updates.
  • What features do you plan on for future releases?
    • One feature we would really like to see in a future release is the ability to record the soundtracks made on the soundboard. These could be played back at later times or even shared with friends. Another feature we would like to incorporate is the ability to use the video camera to catch victims reactions when scared by the sound activated scare.
  • Why is the soundboard slow on my older device?
    • The soundboard is not meant to play all of the sounds at one time. For one it's just bad form, you can't decipher all of the different effects. Another reason is that they can eat up your device's memory.
  • Why only allow 9 sounds to be played at a time?
    • Version 1.1 addresses playing too many sounds at once. A limited was added so you can only play 9 sounds so your device does not become slow from everything that is going on.
